I have found them to be good too, but I have just had a second failure.

On the first they replaced the entire sensor array (W69) when it stopped communicating, with just under a month to go on warranty. Now 15 months later, my temp and humidity sensor has stopped sending data. So I am out of warranty.

I have been going back and forth with support. I was dealing with a "Lucy" originally but there seems to be a new person now. Their latest suggestion is to buy a new temp & humidity sensor part and replace that. Unfortunately, they are out of stock on that part.

Sadly I tossed out the old array only a couple of months ago - I could have tried scavenging the temp & humidity segment, but it's the old story.

Ecowitt have two options:
a) just the temp/hum sensor to be exchanged ( 5 USD)
the picture shows the same sensor from top and down perspective - the little "pocket" with holes is part of it and covers the sensor end

b) the whole T/H/rain part (16 USD)

the T/H sensor only they might have on stock - would be worth asking

unless you have a 2nd generation WS80, the T/H outdoor sensors are identical (SHT31) - the 2nd generation has a Sensirion SHT40).
