Very impressed.
My humidity sensor on my HP2551 started playing up after only 3 months of use (one minute it was on 99% and then on 1% the next!!). So I sent in an enquiry to the Ecowitt seller on Amazon and they have agreed it is faulty and are sending a new sensor along with instructions of how to replace it.
It hasn't arrived yet but so far I am very impressed with their warranty/after sales service.

They are specific to the HP2551 but here they are.

Re: Very impressed.
That's very interesting!
I have the same fault. I reckon the plastic cage is the problem. The lower two stages are flat and I reckon this allows water into the sensor....I've asked for a replacement too, via Amazon.
We'll see.

Re: Very impressed.
Please do not confuse the terms - it's good to follow a clean terminology - see also https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=40730.0
The instructions are specific to the WH65/WS69 outdoor array, which can come with different consoles (and then these stations have product names which are often identical or similar to the single console).
HP2551 (sometimes HP2550) can be a product (station = console + sensor array and/or other sensors) or the console only.
That same console, HP2550/HP2551, can come with different sensors or sensor arrays - then you have different product names: HP2552, HP2553.
That WH65/WS69 outdoor array can come with a WH2910, WS2320E, HP350x, WN19x0, GW1x00 or WH2650 console. And it doesn't matter if it has the I-shape or the Y-shape.
Ecowitt sell the replacement kit (Temperature + humidity + rain gauge) for 16 USD (not in the catalogue but you can order it via email).

Yes it was. By the way when I say the weather station is complete that is apart from the console, so I have spare parts for everything.

Re: Very impressed.
Hi
Also impressed - a whole new sensors array turned up yesterday.
I have fitted it and it all works fine
I had ti look in the settings ...third page?
To reconnect the sensor as it wasn't connecting.
The only difference i can see is that there is a sticker or cover on the solar sensor ..did you have this? Do I have to remove this?

Re: Very impressed.
Um, I've been up there and there's no sticker to remove....I am talking about the little UV sensor and not the solar panel.
Looks a different design . . .

Re: Very impressed.
Here's the two sensor arrays - the new one has no sticker and is definitely a glass top . . . maybe they modified it with a filter???
Not keen to go scratching about??

Re: Very impressed.
Hi
I got a pretty swift answer from Ecowitt...they really are very good....yes, it is a filter...
Hi,
This is a diffuser film to make the sun light sensing better.
This is an improvement of the design.
Best Regards
