Re: uninstall history
I guess you mean outside C:\Program files or C:\ProgramFiles(x86). Mine is in D:\Program Files(x86).

No, I meant exactly what I said. They're not necessarily on drive C:cats_five wrote:I guess you mean outside C:\Program files or C:\ProgramFiles(x86).

Re: uninstall history
OK, but having installed into D:\Program Files, that's where my data is as well - not under D:\Users.
(I've tweaked the registry so that user's home directories are on D: not C:)

I think we're going around in circles here! Where are %programfiles% and %programfiles(x86)% on your system?cats_five wrote:OK, but having installed into D:\Program Files, that's where my data is as well - not under D:\Users.

Re: uninstall history
I install everything I can (except of course Windows) onto the D: drive, so have D:\Program Files and D:\Program Files(x86) - Cumulus is in the later. %Program Files% etc. will be on C:.Mine is in D:\Program Files(x86)

Re: uninstall history
Right - I was beginning to think that I had got it all wrong somehow. So, as I said: "installing anywhere outside %ProgramFiles% or %ProgramFiles(x86)% will result in the data staying in the installation folder." The fact that you have installed under a folder that happens to be called ProgramFiles(x86) is irrelevant; it's just another folder outside the %ProgramFiles(x86)% hierarchy.cats_five wrote: %Program Files% etc. will be on C:.
