Upgrading from version 3083

Hi

I am a long time user of Cumulus (starting from version 1) and have version 3083 running flawlessly on my raspberry pi 3. However, I have not upgraded cumulus from that version.

Browsing the forum, I see some posts suggesting that some major changes have occurred since then. I would appreciate a headsup from someone as to any pitfalls I need to look for before downloading the latest version and installing it.

Yes, I will make a backup of my current version in any event but a headsup would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Sorry, it took a while to get around to responding.

You should be OK so long as you...
* Create a separate install so you can go back
* Unzip the entire contents of the latest version
* CHECK ALL YOUR SETTINGS (particularly the Internet Settings) after the first start-up. Lots of them have changed slightly, nearly all will be migrated/converted to the new way of configuring things. But a couple were problematic and may become disabled during the migration.
