UV Spike

Currently I have a WS3085. Cumulus MX sometimes records values above 12,up to 16. When Cumulus MX is stopped and a backup from an earlier time and data loaded from the WS3085 logger, the UV value is lower than 12. The high value only occurs when Cumulus MX is running. The data from the WS3085 console logger does not have the high values as shown when downloaded in the Fine Offset Easyweather program. So the high UV values only are recorded when Cumulus MX is running.
It appears the data logger only records values up to a value of 12 looking at the downloaded data from EasyWeather.
Can a UV spike value or highest value be added to to the program?

I don't think a spike value would work very well as UV-I is something that can change significantly between readings as the sun is obscured by clouds, or the sensor goes in/out of shadows.

In a way are the 16 values not a help to you as they indicate suspect values? If the value was limited to 12 then you have no way of seeing when you got invalid readings.

I just took a look at the code, and if the UV-I value received is greater than 16, then it is recorded as 16. I think what it should do is ignore (but log) any value above 16.
