It's logging a few extra real-time files, but the file is only 748 KB in size ???

I can't comment on the issue at hand, but looking at the MXdiags, do you really need to update all those Extra web files at realtime? The dayfile.txt can get quite big and only updates at end of day so no need to do that at realtime, nor even at the normal update - use End of Day instead. The same question on CUtagsT, and camdata, records-sa. All these items are added to MXdiags at your 10 seconds realtime... which makes up nearly all of the logging.
Enjoy,
Paul
Enjoy,
Paul

The log has now grown to 3.2Gb and it goes on and on.

I'd echo what Paul is saying. Most of those files do not "look" like real time files. And the day file only needs uploading at the EOD - and it certainly doe not need web tag processing!
That said, that level of 'normal' logging for real time FTP wasn't really intended, I'll tweak it for the next release.

This does not add up, the file you posted was 780 odd KB and covered 94 minutes. That is 500 KB per hour.
3.2 GB at that same rate would take 279 days to generate, but you say it has created it in 1h 10m!
We really need to see the contents of these enormous files - just a section.

Re: Your root partition remaining free space is critically low
Hello Mark, this is the result of a night of logging, more than 25 GB, I expect CumulusMX to stop soon because I will have no memory left.
My cronjob apparently didn't work, I have to look into that.
When I execute the cleanupMXdiags.sh it deletes everything in the MXdiags folder, but not via the cronjob.
Sjaak.

OK, but unless you can show me the contents of the log files there is nothing more I can do!
