Edited values from monthly logs not showing in graphs

I've been doing some cleaning of my VP2 (bird poop and spiders!) and accidentally triggered 5 rain tips in the process. After I finished I used the editing functions for the monthly logs (and "this month" records) to remove the erroneous tips. I also reset the days rain to 0.0 using "Todays Rain Editor". I then restarted MX so that the new values would show in the graphs. Unfortunately the graphs are still showing the "maintenance tips". I double-checked the monthly file (Sep21log.txt) and the values were no longer present, as expected. When I have performed this routine in the past then the values would disappear on restart of MX. Is this something to do with the persisting of recent values introduced in a recent release?

It is, if you delete the cumulusmx.db file before restarting it will be recreated from the log files - but you'll lose the one minute data resolution.

The cumulusmx.db file is SQLite format, so it can be queried and edited if you install a SQLite client.

Thanks Mark. My logging interval is 1 minute, so I'm not going to lose out by deleting the .db file. I've done this and my graphs are okay now. Thanks for the tip.

I don't know if this is any help to you or not, freddie.. I always unplug the rain tipper cable from the ISS when I do my maintenance. Save the editing!

Thanks Tina. I usually put the station in setup mode, but didn't as I was only cleaning the buckets and surrounding area, and not taking off the "screen" for cleaning. I'll use your suggestion in future before cleaning the buckets!
