Moving Test Pi to New Site.

Hi All,

Planning on trying to take my test Pi to a remote GW1000 site tomorrow & installing it there.

Just wondering if I have all the requirement listed for maintaining what I've configured locally to start a new data set for the new location without deleting the ini file & starting from scratch.

Code: Select all

Delete Data directory
Reset Name, Description, Location, Altitude etc
Remove Start Date, LastLoggerDownload, YTDrain & YTDrainyear
Change [FTP site] Host=, Username= & Password=
Change [GW1000] IPAddress=
Remove any Third Party Uploads settings.

Browsing the ini file I think that covers it.

Anything I've missed or likely to get tripped up on?

Sounds about right - except...

Do not delete the /data folder, just its contents!
