Today I started running CumulusMX (b3141) as a service. I have found that when running as a service it does not run my batch file which uploads my realtime and dayfile to my website. I am using the realtime.txt to update my Meteotemplate. I am running the batch file through the external programs.
When I run CumulusMx normally with a shortcut the batch file uploads sucessfully.
Any idea what is going on?

Re: Batch File Not Uploading When Running MX As Service
By default the service is set to run under the System account. System does not have permissions for network access.
You could try changing the service user account to NetworkService, but it depends on how you are authenticating to the remote server. If you are using Windows authentication, then NetworkService will authenticate as your computer account. If you need to authenticate as a particular user, then you should run the service under that account.

Secondary question, why not use Cumulus to do the uploads?

Re: Batch File Not Uploading When Running MX As Service
When I was using Cumulus 1 my Host required SFTP, so I had to use the batch file. When I migrated from Cumulus 1 to CumulusMx a few days ago I had some problems with my host using the SFTP in CumulusMX so I just continued using the batch file. When I get some more time I will figure out the problem and then use the SFTP in CumulusMX.
Thanks for the help appreciate it.
