NOAA reports - no last year

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

NOAA reports - no last year

Post by jon_iz »

I've been running CMX for 14 months.
I never bothered setting up NOAA reports until a few months ago and have regenerated the data and uploaded the files onto the host
CMX is updating the current month and year reports daily.

For some odd reason, the Reports web page on the website won't display last years NOAA monthly reports - all the months are greyed out.

2020 and 2021 yearly reports and 2021 monthly reports are present.
2020 monthly reports are in the same folder on the webhost.

I have just regenerated and uploaded them all once again, but still last years monthly data cannot be displayed?

Is there a setting somewhere i have forgotten to set?

Hi,
Very strange as Jun to Dec files for year 2020 are in your /reports folder.
Does NOAA reports show correctly on your local dashboard?

Enjoy,
Paul

Paul - yes displays and loads fine on local gui:
Oct2020.PNG
Mark - it's the same on both of my sites (Which is not a surprise, as the test site was a clone of the primary in the first instance)

There was a bug in the noaa.js file for the default web site in that release iirc, and a patch file for it - sorry I forget now!

But if you try this version of the file from the latest release it should be OK: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cumul ... oaarpts.js

thanks Mark.
I've replaced the file, updated the reports path within it and it doesn't work at all now, so i guess there's another dependant file.
So I'll do a refresh of the web site content and look again later today.

Sick in what way?

Anyway, a clean update of the webfiles has resolved the NOAA reports....
Ticket closed... :D
