Spoiler #2

Having answered the previous random IRIS question, you get the following clue ...
Next clue ...

All good hunts need a c???t and a ??p

So first, historically for the French, it's a must-have option !
So pay attention, you will be using a chart, and at some point a map.

Goto Charts => Historic (fr) ... and click on the obviously French option for the next pop-up clue.

Spoiler #3

This seems to be the first troublesome hurdle !

From spoiler #2 and selecting chart option "Croissants" you should've got:

Next clue ...

User dickie is spying on agents of CROAK who are about to unleash a toxin that will destroy half the worlds plant life.

Remove control centre with extreme predudice !
So what about user dickie ?
Spoiler #2 said "So pay attention, you will be using a chart, and at some point a map."

So goto Other Links => Cumulus User Map

Select 'dickie' in the table list.

Please don't kill dickie, although you won't be penalised if you do

He is South of a small airfield, move the crosshairs to the only building (10053) and hit the "FIRE" button.

Next clue pops up (Which also seems to be a 'stumbler' for some)

Click on the logo - and the next clue appears.

"No pointers" is a hint that the cursor won't change to show it's a link. :groan:

Location ...
Tell the pilot same East and West, as North and South

How do you find betel island - You need a map !

Navigate to "Other Links" >> "Cumulus User Map"
"Tell the pilot same East and West, as North and South" - So in the 'Auto Pilot' in the right-hand pane you put 0 (zero) for Lat: and Lng; and click the green 'GO' button.
