Good evening
I'm from a town in the noth-east of Catalonia and i work with a Oregon and Cumulus1 since 6-7 years ago, but now i change the oregon and now i have an Ecowitt HP3501
forgive-me my english but i would like to know if is possible connect a Ecowitt HP3501 in a Raspberry Pi 4B with cumulusMX
If it's possible, what is the way to connect it
Thank you very much

Ecowitt HP3501 is just a display unit, unfortunately you can’t connect it to raspberry/cumulus like the old fine offset consoles. If you have Ecowitt sensors and console, you need to get also Ecowitt GW1000 gateway to get going with CumulusMX.

The next release of Cumulus will support Ecowitt WiFi consoles that can be configured to send data to a "Custom server".

Excellent news, thank you Mark. This definitely changes things, luckily I did not rush with my own plans regarding gw1000.

Good Morning
I have tested CumulusMX with Windows7 PC and it works fine, but there is no way to make it work with Raspberry ...
I downloaded
Raspberry Pi Image for Cumulus MX 3.11.3 and installed the image in the Raspberry with "Raspberry Image" following this steps "
https://cumuluswiki.org/a/Raspberry_Pi_Image"
In WS View:
In "Customized" I checked "Enabled"
In "Protocol Type", "Same As Ecowitt"
In "Sever IP / Hostname", the IP of the Raspberry (<hostname_or_ip_of_CMX>)
In "Path", "/station/ecowitt"
In "Port", "8998"
And in "Upload interval", "60" seconds
In the browser I put the "IP_Raspberry": 8998, the Dashboard comes out, but with all data to zero.
What am I doing wrong?
I have no problem with PC , but the Raspberry World is all new for me
Sorry for my english and Thank you very much
Cheers

Could you please set CumulusMX to log both debug and data then post the resulting MXdiags file ?
This will give us a pointer to what is happening. Set the logging options in Settings/Logging Options from the dashboard.
Although you have no need to restart CumulusMX to enable the logging; after you have made the changes it may be instructive if you restart CumulusMX, let it run for 5 mins then stop it and post the resulting MXdiags file.
Cheers

re-reading your original post I think you may have an earlier version of CumulusMX for the Raspberry Pi. The version you need is 3.12.1. Prior to this the support for ECOWITT was limited to the GW1000 and the HTTP Ecowitt 'station' didn't exist. The RPi image is lagging behind the current release of CumulusMX it would appear.
You will need to download and install the latest CumulusMX distribution and install over the existing RPi version of CumulusMX. This is described in the WIKI but is fairly straight forward. Help is on hand if needed!

yes, maybe that's it ... Now I see that in the footer, Cumulus MX 3.11.3 b132 appears
I'm going to try something else with raspbian and the latest version.
I'll start again
Thanks for your help

I hope to update the rPi image after the next release - yes, it has been down my todo list for a little while.

Thanks but I'll update it with the latest build when I create it - hopefully they will all be available around the same time.
