Hello,
I have changed my website provider.
The Cumulus files must now be uploaded to the www folder.
I have now worked through all the options in Cumulus as a remote FTP directory, but nothing works.
Cumulus keeps pushing the files into the main directory of the web space.
I tried:
www and www/ and /www and www. and www and .www and www. and ./www and /www/
Can anyone help me with what I'm doing wrong here?

Hi Gerry,
Other may have better suggestions... but presume you can access your remote site with FileZilla?
Do you have a separate folder on your remote site where you want the CMX files located? You would need to include that in the remote path.
If so can you provide a screen capture of your FileZilla showing remote site and folders.
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Wie setzt man das richtige FTP-Verzeichnis?
Hello,
I can access my website with Filezilla or TotalCommander.
The root directory of the web space looks like this.

The root directory of the web space consists of 3 folders:
.gnupg
logfiles
www
My actual website is then located in the www folder.
This is where the Cumulus data should also go.
I've already tried the absolute path. but does not work either.
It looks like this:
/ aa / xx / yy / zz / www /

Hi Gerry,
Unfortunately that attached image does not display for me.
What is your website URL?
What remote or path did you FTP the webfiles (if you are using the CumulusMX default webpages)
Are the updated .json files being created and updated at the set interval, and can you see them on your remote using FileZilla? Anything in the MXdiags files?
But maybe first need to ask what version/build of Cumulus you are running?
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Wie setzt man das richtige FTP-Verzeichnis?
Hello,
I don't know why the picture is not displayed.
My website is url
www.wipshausen.de
The Cumulus data is displayed on the page
http://www.wipshausen.de/wetter.html
The data is also updated every minute. That's working.
With my old provider, the Cumulus data was transferred directly to the root directory, whatever worked.
With my new provider, the website is not in the root but in a folder with the name www
I specified this folder in Cumulus' FTP data.
But it doesn't save anything there. Everything is in the webspace root.
I am using Cumulus MX latest version

Re: Wie setzt man das richtige FTP-Verzeichnis?
Hi,
We're getting into an area that is not the CMX default web pages so my experience is very limited.
I presume http://www.wipshausen.de/wetter.html is not current as not being updated.
However http://www.wipshausen.de/realtime.txt is being updated and if this is being done by CumulusMX then whatever you have in your Web/FTP Site Remote FTP directory is correct.
Presumably you are updating with modified web template files so make sure that in the Extra web files settings you have exactly what you have in Remote FTP directory settings, with of course the file name you wish to use i.e. /index.html
Would be interesting to see your remote site structure on where the realtime.txt file is compared to index.html and any other updated files.
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Wie setzt man das richtige FTP-Verzeichnis?
Thanks alot,
but that was exactly it.
The extra web files.
I forgot to put the slash in front of them, something like /index.html
After changing it now works. And my data will be updated again.
Many thanks for the help.
