Found something called ImetBaudRate=115200 and changed it.

I have also upgraded to the latest build (3147)

I have restarted the software.

I checked the most recent log and saw an entry:

2021-09-14 19:54:55.492 Instromet: Attempting to open /dev/ttyUSB0
2021-09-14 19:54:55.508 COM port opened

Also lots of entries like:

2021-09-14 19:57:38.154 Get next log - RDLG,1
2021-09-14 19:57:38.669 rdlg,120658,1,600,13:21:21,21/03/2021,5.1,6.7,5.9,,,,,,,1005.9,1006.1,1005.9,4.6,8.9,7.1,29,,,47
2021-09-14 19:57:38.670 Logger entry zero: Y = 2021, M = 3, D = 21, h = 13, m = 21, s = 21
2021-09-14 19:57:38.670 New earliest timestamp 3/21/2021 1:21:21 PM

which I've never seen it do before.

So to me it looks promising.

I will leave it be and check back later...

IT'S WORKING !!! :D

So it looks like the ImetBaudRate=115200 fixed it.

It seems odd to me that you need to edit the Cumulus.ini to change the parameter.

Also the .ini didn't seem to have the right privileges which might explain why the save wasn't working- unless I'm missing something.

Next job is to set up the ftp to our website.

Thank you all very much for your assistance!!!

This may be due to MX being run under sudo at some point and then later being run without sudo.

Don't know what's going on here but I posted a while back to say that following software update and correct setting of the imet baud rate 115200 the software is now working and I have also successfully set up the website update too.
