Backup of data in case of problems
I am using a GW1000 gateway. I am currently setting up another computer in case I ever have problems such as a system crash. I have copied the cumulus folder over to that computer but noticed that my rain data disappeared. I want to set up a backup so that I can quickly transition if need be and ensure my data is stored. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Backup of data in case of problems
I Simply Run this once a day....
It does mean I get a lot of files in the MXDiags directory...
Plans to improve it, but it gives me security for now.
Phil.
Code: Select all
Robocopy C:\CumulusMX C:\CmxBackup *.* /s
Robocopy C:\CumulusMX \\phils-i7\Xternal\Backups\CmxBackup *.* /s
Plans to improve it, but it gives me security for now.
Phil.
