I've noticed that my lighteningstrikestoday appears to be resetting at 6:00 pm instead of midnight. Do I need to add a parameter to change the time?

Cumulus just gets the value from your GW1000, you need to look at the config of that box to see why it is resetting then. Do you have the wrong time zone set?
