Data input appears to have stopped

Just as a remark: after installing 3129, and having activated email, alarms and latches etc... everything seemed to fine. But last night I had two periods of 8 minutes where the data input seemed to have stopped (hail the email which notified me). I checked older logfiles and could not find similar situations, maybe the message did not exist before b3129.
Is this a coincidence?
Is it a coincidence that both occurrences have 8 minutes of stopped data and then restart?
This message is just a remark as I have no further proof, but I have the feeling there may be a problem here.
(Great thing btw those emails; I configured the stop data alarm with a latch of 1 hr)
