Anyone know who this is?
Can anyone identify this woman? She'll be (fairly) famous, an actress or something like that, and her name may well be 'Smith'.
Thanks,
Steve

Is there a prize for the correct answer? Perhaps a free copy of Cumulus!

Re: Anyone know who this is?
Posted on another forum for you and someone suggested Faye Dunaway (of bonnie and clyde fame).
Do you know if it's an up to date photo?
Mike.

Re: Anyone know who this is?
All we know is that she is probably called Smith, or is connected in some way with the name Smith; I'm pretty sure it's not Faye Dunaway.
I guess she's not as well-known as I'd thought. I assumed that someone who had a TV (we don't) would identify her straight away.

21st century, Steve. TV has been de-bugged (for the most part) now. Its safe to get one. They're flat...don't take much room...you can mount them on the wall....they don't eat anything...they will be quiet if you want them to. I traded my wife's yappy terrier for one. Never looked back.

Re: Anyone know who this is?
There's no thread; just a picture. Full picture attached. We have identified all but this woman. They are all Smiths. The first letters of their first names spell "KJV Matthew" so we assume the ones either side of the colon are a chapter and verse: 20 : <something> where this woman represents the verse somehow.beteljuice wrote:Perhaps if you gave us the thread that went with the picture ?

My experience of them is that they are OK until you turn them on, then they start emitting all kinds of garbage.akasonny wrote:21st century, Steve. TV has been de-bugged (for the most part) now. Its safe to get one.

What? You don't like reruns of Benny Hill on the Beeb (BBC)? Monty Python? Mr. Bean? You're willing miss such American treasures as reruns of 90210? Baywatch? Knight Rider?
Hmmm....<thinking>....guess you're right after all.

Re: Anyone know who this is?
May be totally irrelevent but...
This links Matthew to Smith...
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2066741/
Will keep Googling and checking IMDb.
Have you got any other clues as to what the quiz expects in the way of an answer?
Mike.
