I could not find the answer to my question using search.
Windows 10 desktop connected to Davis Vantage Pro2 console.
Every evening I manually reboot my desktop dedicated to the CumulusMX/Davis setup, then restart CumulusMX. I push to several weather aggregators.
Last night, the wind gust data was corrupted at the time of the restart and continued until I noticed the problem early this morning. I rebooted the system again, made sure everything in the background loaded, then started CumulusMX. Gust data was now correct.
Is it possible to edit the data to force reloading and displaying corrected information? I know the data pushed out is untouchable but I want to clean my local data.
Thanks.

In MX dashboard you can edit the data logs and the dayfile by using the Data Logs menu and you can alter various Records by using the Edit menu.

Re: Reload data from a specific time period?
The following answer applies to all weather stations where past records are stored in the console.
Cumulus can be stopped, and "rewound" to start again from any date/time for which the contents of the "data" folder are stored in the "backup" folder, or its "daily" sub-folder.
You simply copy ALL the RELEVANT files (i.e.any files that come from "data folder") from that selected backup timed sub-folder over the current files in the "data" folder.
Restarting Cumulus makes it restart from the time of the backup files.
Given how many hours have passed since your data was corrupted, it would be best not to rewind now, because you will lose the detail recorded since your reboot. However, now you know what you could have done this morning!
To be pedantic, the previous answer should say "MX admin interface" as "MX dashboard" is a single page within that.

Aw, the backup copies. Like you said, now I know better. Thanks for the feedback.
