Re: mail alerts
It's planned for the future (probably in Cumulus 2). The future is a long, long way off, though. I hardly have any time for Cumulus development now because of all the time I spend doing help and support.

I've noticed it's getting a lot busier on here now Steve; dread to think what it'll be like after Xmas when all those new systems are being set up.steve wrote:It's planned for the future (probably in Cumulus 2). Re: mail alerts
Yes, that did occur to me, there was certainly an increase last year. I'm going to have to think of a plan. Perhaps splitting the board up into 'bug reports' and 'help and queries', and I only deal with bug reports, and the 'help and queries' is a self-help area which I don't get involved in. There are quite a few of you now that are good at answering questions and giving help on quite a lot of stuff. I will probably also have to adopt a 'get tough' approach and start ignoring questions which are answered in the help/faq/wiki.Repairman77 wrote:I've noticed it's getting a lot busier on here now Steve; dread to think what it'll be like after Xmas when all those new systems are being set up.

Think that's a good idea Steve or C2 will never even get to Beta, LOL.
There's quite a few of us who visit every day so I'm sure we can answer most of the queries.

It's become clear that this is almost inevitable, sadly. I'm sorry for the disappoint this will cause.Repairman77 wrote:Think that's a good idea Steve or C2 will never even get to Beta, LOL.

BRAVO! Bravo! [sound of applause]steve wrote:...I will probably also have to adopt a 'get tough' approach and start ignoring questions which are answered in the help/faq/wiki.
Might I also ask you to ignore questions from members/users who cannot be bothered indicating their first name, their weather station brand as well as the operating under which Cumulus is running ... that would be getting really REALLY TOUGH...
