CreateMissing for monthly log files
I've been using Cumulus since 2010, and during that time many new data items have been added to the monthly log files. Some of those are not measured, but calculated from other data items (wind chill, feels like, humidex etc.). I don't know enough about C# programming to dig into the CumulusMX source code and look up the formulars to compute those missing items. But it would be nice to have a consistent set of data all the way back. Maybe somebody else has done this already? (I'm thinking of Mark here
)

Re: CreateMissing for monthly log files
Ahh, thank you Freddie. But this is the utility to update the dayfile.txt file. I was asking about an equivalent for the monthly log files.

Re: CreateMissing for monthly log files
Nothing like that exists at present, though CreateMissing is already doing the calculations required but only using them to find min/max's for the dayfile entry.

Under 3rd pary tools there is a post from May 20 called create missing for MX
This not Marks program .
They are php files. They have errors but they can be made to work.
The monthly files corrected have only a lf at the end of each line instead of crlf.
