editing/removing summary data from charts

I noticed today that I have some erroneous data from several years ago in my Solar and UV history as can be seen here ( http://www.austexweather.com/historic.htm ) when I view ALL data. I can't seem to find what file or files I need to edit in order to remove that data. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You need to use the dayfile editor and modify the solar radiation where needed.

OK it took me a while but I think I found the dayfile editor. It is located on the Cumulus MX dashboard here: Data Logs > Data Logs

I assumed that the summary data was taking the final result for each day and using that data to create the chart and that I would just be able to edit the maximum solar radiation and UV values. However, the dayfile editor looks like I would have to edit 288 entries for each day, one for each 5 minute interval, one at a time. Is this correct?

Is the data for these charts being taken from one summary file or hundreds (or thousands) of individual daily data files?

One other question. Where does the "sun hours" data come from? It that calculated somehow from the solar radiation data?

Actually that is the monthly file editor, the dayfile editor is the third option in that menu named dayfile.

No that is not correct, you had the wrong editor.

Dayfile is one file.

Sun hours is a field in dayfile.

Maybe you should read the articles in the wiki about the dayfile and the monthly logfiles.
