Unable to start Cumulus MX

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Unable to start Cumulus MX

Post by EastMasonvilleWX »

Hello,

Last night while recovering from a power outage, I sustained another power outage. This occurred while Cumulus was attempting to load past files from VirtualVP. I am pretty sure something was corrupted and now upon startup I get a message to post my MXdiags to the forum. So here I am today.

I am unable to figure out which file is corrupted, so hopefully someone can look at my logs and let me know.

Thank you in advance,
-Dennis

Your Windows box has "lost" its system uptime performance counter.

There are instructions for repair this here: viewtopic.php?p=150519#p150519

But if you upgrade to the latest release this error will be caught and reported - Cumulus will not crash, but you will lose System uptime reporting.

Update, I was able to log in remotely.

I downloaded the latest update this morning, I thought I had installed it, guess not. Anyway installing the latest version allows the program to start.

Thanks for the quick reply.
