compass sectors 8 or 16

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

compass sectors 8 or 16

Post by HansR »

I remember having seen a configuration somewhere of the compass sectors to 8 or 16 and I can't find it back.
Anybody knows where that is?
(16 for the Davis, 8 for the Fine Offset etc...)

I assume that you have tried the Display options in the CMX console per the attached screen shot.
Neither option really works for me though, I am ignoring the problem at the moment.

Thanks, yes that must have been the one.

Point is that I don't find the value in the ini file.
I'll have to look harder I guess ;) But yes, that is what I'm looking for.

Wait, what no! The value should be 8 or 16, not 0, 1.

If you are getting 0,1 when using the settings then you must still be using the old broken Settings*.json files in the interface.
