Clock change bug in VantagePro.dll

There appears to be a bug in the Davis VantagePro.dll (which is how Cumulus communicates with the station) connected with the change from daylight savings time (e.g. BST to GMT, as occurred in the early hours of this morning).

If you have your VP/VP2 set to automatically change its clock, and you don't have Cumulus running 24 hours a day, when you start Cumulus today you will probably find/have found that it didn't download all of the data from the logger. The DLL supplies a count of how many records the VP has in its logger from a particular time; it doesn't appear to take into account the extra hour's worth of data. So when Cumulus downloads the data, it stops short of the current time.

You may find you have a gap in your Oct08log.txt file. If you want to correct this, you can edit the dates and times in today.ini, and remove the last few entries in Oct08log.txt (while Cumulus is stopped), then when Cumulus starts again it will pick up all the latest entries.

No problems here Steve as my VP2 and computer are running GMT all year round.

It's definitely the way to go, but I guess many people want to see real times displayed on the console and computer. I should look into getting Cumulus to work in UTC but display local times, but it's not straightforward because of the different types of weather station and the different ways people will have them configured.
