Release 3116
I've installed build 3116 and the net result after following the instructions regarding the website...(Delete current website, empty Web folder and install from zip file)... is that the new web pages display, but are not populated with any data. The exception are the gauges, which seem to be working fine apart from the refresh interval not being the same as in the settings. I've got a feeling this is a simple fix, but I did follow the instructions to the letter...Honest! The MXdiags file shows the ftp process is working ok and the updated files are being uploaded to the server OK. Anyone know what's going on?

Re: Release 3116
goto cumulusmx internet settings, click on web/ftp settings tick "I want to use the supplied default web site"
check the interval settings are what you want
check standard files settings are generate and ftp transfer for websitedata.json and wxnow.txt
save. wait for interval to pass by or do an FTP Now push.
CTRL-F5 your web browser on your web server. thats all that should be needed if you say you have carried out all the other stuff.

Re: Release 3116
No change I'm afraid. all the right files seem to be on the server and the section in the internet settings are set correctly.

Re: Release 3116
Any errors to report in the log files in the MXdiags folder? Have you opened developer tools (usually F12) in your browser, and are there any errors reported there?

A link to the web site would be helpful if you want people to try and look at this.

Found the site - your websitedata.json file is missing.

Re: Release 3116
I've checked and the websitedata.json file is sitting both in the root file on the server and in the local web folder. Is it supposed to be anywhere else? Still no data

Re: Release 3116
If I request http://www.treviskeyweather.co.uk/websitedata.json then I get a 404 response, which implies the file isn't there. Looking at your server-side listing it does appear to be there. Is your web server doing something to prevent the serving up of JSON files?

Re: Release 3116
And the prize goes to you "freddie" that was exactly the problem! In deleting the contents of the root folder on the server there were also two files specially downloaded by the webhosts to enable .json files to be displayed. A look at the back up I made and a quick transfer brought everything back to life. Many Thanks!
