dummy website data not displaying (v3116)

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

dummy website data not displaying (v3116)

Post by liddelljs »

Hi all,
I'm in the same boat as @phil23 - customised webpages but no html skills. I've taken Mark's advice and setup a dummy webfolder (http://jandakotwa.duckdns.org/new/index.htm) to play and learn but can't get the table or almanac data to display. trend pages seem ok. I've done the following:
1. Taken a copy of the json data files from my live web folder and copied them into the new folder
2. Processed the websitedataT.json file into the new folder and confirmed it is populated with data
3. Copied across the web and webfiles folders from v3116 into the new folder.
4. Dumped the cache

Clearly something I'm missing and hoping someone can enlighten me.

Cheers
Steve

The problem is you have processed the websitedataT.json file with MX version 3.9.7 which does not have all the changes in it required to produce a valid output file.
