I must be doing something wrong!

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

I must be doing something wrong!

Post by The Dalek Hunter »

I can't get the latest 3.10.1 release to work - I must be doing something wrong. It is running on a Windows 10 mini PC.

I stopped MX and copied all the new files over the old files.

I then deleted all the files on my website and copied the new ones across and restarted MX.

https://longsuttonweather.co.uk - not working - what have I done wrong.

FTP upload is working ok as looking at the site stuff is uploading ok and looking at MXDiags there are no errors. Interestingly Gauges and Charts are working ok!

So what have I done wrong!!

Ah, it's because your web cam url has quotation marks in it.

Code: Select all

https://longsuttonweather.co.uk/webcam.jpg "target="_blank"
It needs to be a pure url, so remove the target="_blank"

You will have to add the target to the menu item - see the wiki page on how to mod the menu...
