Showing rows 0 - 24 (95 total, Query took 0.6725 seconds.)
Not as long as yours as I only have 3 years of data for Burnham-on-Sea.

Re: Consecutive Hours Below Freezing
Thanks
I have uploaded the file .http://www.bramptonweather.co.uk/utils/CURPTTest.txt
That appears to work - but doesnt show up in the reports section http://www.bramptonweather.co.uk/utils/ as an option
I think this is too difficult for me to understand unfortunatley.

Re: Consecutive Hours Below Freezing
Paul,
You must not upload it to the server but to the utils directory on the CMX machine.
But never mind, as you concluded... It's not for you.
Sorry, can't help you.

Re: Consecutive Hours Below Freezing
Thats fair enough Hans - I understand
If anyone does read this and would like to make a page or template that I can download and use that would be most appreciated. I think it may be a useful tool to have.
best wishes
Paul

Re: Consecutive Hours Below Freezing
Hi
As a result of my post a few days ago I was contacted by private message and provided some help and code
I have changed my index.htm page and a .json file (websitedataT.json)
http://www.bramptonweather.co.uk/
As a result I now have frost hours on my main page BUT - the data its showing is wrong and I am not certain on how to overcome the issue
Its showing 671hrs of frost for today and the same for the season 671hrs, clearly incorrect. I have gone into the settings and adjusted the chill hours to zero but no change
Any thoughts on what may be wrong ?

Re: Consecutive Hours Below Freezing
Chill hours is a running total, but it's not about showing frosts. It starts on October 1st, and it tallies up hours where the temperature didn't exceed 7°C.
Mine is currently 564.9 hrs.

Sounds like it was never going to show what I thought it would show !!
Even if you change the setting to zero 0?

Re: Consecutive Hours Below Freezing
Yeah I guess that could work..
You would then get the number of hours of below zero for "today" <#chillhoursToday>
And then the running total since the date you set the chill hours to start from. <#chillhours>
The only problem I can think of, is that there might be cut-off date for chill hours? So, if you have an air frost past that date, it wouldn't add to the total.

Re: Consecutive Hours Below Freezing
Update - I have now changed it to #chillhoursYest
This has changed the figure to 3.7hrs - its still not right but I will now wait until anyone says I should edit the todays.ini file or just wait until tomorrow at rollover and see if it updates itself ?
