Question????

Post by The hooded Claw »

Firstly, a HUGE thank you to daj for his help in getting my "Web Presence" up & running

David "YOUR A STAR THANK YOU SO MUCH"................However..........Everything "Appears" to be uploading & working fine EXCEPT the "Real Time Wind / Direction gauges" at the bottom of the "gauges" page

Any Bright ideas as to why this may be happening (Or NOT in my case!!)

Cheers Guys

A link to your site would be handy. Have you enabled realtime uploads in Cumulus? Those gauges need that, to work.

Bear in mind that your station only updates every 48 seconds.

Steve, where do/did you see that update value of 48 seconds ... or are you an 'Internet mind reader"... :D

It's a well-known feature (to those that own them) of the Fine Offset stations.

I do wonder sometimes about the real time option and how useful it is for the Fine Offset stations. A 48 second update is not exactly real time, so doing an update to the web too often is wasteful of bandwidth (although the realtime update uses very little)
