Afternoon
Sadly without a file list of what's changed there's always a risk of overwriting something you shouldn't.
I had a quick look at the files backed up the old cumulus folder and copied over the top. Fatal mistake.
I noticed the the historic graph had stopped working
https://www.sheffieldweather.net/trend.htm
A lot of heading scratching looking at files and the only extra one I copied over to the web server selectachart.js as I wanted to start using this. Put the old cumulus folder back and the historic chart started working again.
So what had I copied over to break it?
I modified the files slightly however even using the unmodified it still didn't work
The historic chart does work though locally.

Hi,
A very nice webpage. Lots of customization so can see why you would like to install only modified files. And good practice to always make a backup/copy before updating so you can quickly go back if needed.
From the looks of your Live Weather page you are using v3.9.6-b3101 now. There have been some changes/fixes made since SelectaChart was introduced, and can't recall if it was only selectachart.js. Was it v3.9.7-b3107 you tried?
I've gone to the practice that when new version has new items added, to first run CumulusMX as stock, upload all the standard webfiles and web updates to confirm the new feature is working correctly. I create a new website folder to separate from the previous working folder. Then can add or modify and identify issues much easier.
Enjoy,
Paul

Yup I did use the latest build and now back to b3101
Interestingly the new historic web page works with the old build. I just slipped that in later this afternoon as I like the full page option.
Still doesn't explain when I moved to newer version the historic charts were empty. I would have expected them all to fail not one.

Okay interesting the new version detects an error in the day file at line 14 34:07 Hour, Minute and second incorrect now I believe another poster had the same issue. This doesn't explain though why the older build doesn't baulk at the same line. The dayfile text is the same for both versions.
This is in Mxdiags

It is simply that the newer versions of MX are parsing more fields of dayfile.txt to extract required data. As more data points become graphable (is that a word!) then probably even more fields will be parsed in the future.

Going to be interesting to see what it makes of -8332 in the column next to it. Three years of data have both numbers in.
It's the rainfall rate that is rubbish so I can change all those to zero and at midnight. The weather monitor didn't store data and the same for wind run which is minus -3276.8
