Hi
I'm struggling to install the new version, the message said I should Zip up my diag folder and attach it here.
Please can you help?

This really seems a very fundamental error in installation, probably some verion of DLL mismatch.
I would advice a complete copy of all files into the directory structure to reinstall CMX in your current operational environment (your data and configuration won't be touched).
You might also consider using my
Multiplatform CMX Installer which may take some worries away.

I'm feeling really stupid but I can't seem to get this working
I've downloaded the multiplatform zip file. Inside it, there are only to files - InstallCMX,exe and an instruction rtf file. I extracted both, then copied the exe file to my CumulusMX folder on my C drive, then copied the zip file from my original download into the same directory.
Ran the exe file which opened up the DOS type window, all seems to go well. The program has installed.
When I try to run the CumulusMS.exe file I get the same (or similar) error to before

I now see you have windows 7. I am not sure but that may be a serious issue as .NET evolves (and CMX as well) it may that distributed libraries don't work any longer. Note that Win7 is no longer supported so .NET on Win7 doesn't get upgraded. Do you have by accident another machine on which you can make a test install just to see if you can get it running there?

I think you have hit an error another user had with the Windows Performance counters not working correctly.
Please try the commands this user found to fix the issue -

The next release has a catch for this problem.

Not sure where you're seeing that but I have Windows 10 installed

I'm afraid that's a bit beyond my technical capabilities. It looks like I'll have to wait until there's something that will do the job on its own and keep running my trusty Cumulus 1.9 until then
