Trouble with outside temp below -17,8 Davis VUE

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Trouble with outside temp below -17,8 Davis VUE

Hi!

When outside temperature goes below -17,8 Celsius ( 0 F ) temperature stuck at -17,8 celcius in Cumulus MX
Its just below -17,8 the problem starts all other working

Temp in Davis station is right below -17,8

I use Cumulus MX 3.9.7 with an USB emulator for Davis

When the temperature is next going to go below 0F, could you switch on Data logging and the attach the MXdiags log file here please.

I checked the code and it will correctly deal with values below 0F. It looks like your emulator has a bug - it is probably encoding the value as an unsigned int16 rather than signed.
