Is there a patch for Fine Offset machines? I get the message Vantage Pro .DLL file missing when I run it as a replaced exe.file from inside the Cumulus folde. This message would be expected if not running a Vantage Pro?

Yes, Dave. The executable depends on that DLL so it must be present.

Sorry Freddie but don't quite follow. Do I need to put that Vantage Pro.dll file in even though I am running a Fine Offset weather station to get the patch .exe file to work?

The patch will not work on its own - it's a patch to a full install. You need to install Cumulus 1, then apply the patch.

Yes I follow that. I am unzipping the patch and then replacing the .exe file in my Cumulus Program folder with the patch .exe file then running hthat from that folder. This brings up the missing Vantage Pro.dll message.

So is the VantagePro.dll missing from your Cumulus folder?
It is installed as part of Cumulus.

Found the problem. The new .exe file had been put in a Cumulus sub folder rather than just within the root directory. I should have spotted it straight away. It now runs fine. Sorry to have troubled you and thank you so much for writing the patch.

It's great that you found the problem. We could see what the issue was (cumulus executable unable to see its dependencies) but were scratching our heads over the "why", as we assumed the patched executable was in the correct place.
No need to apologise - these things happen.
