Here in north Cheshire we were hit quite badly by Storm Christoph during the last 48 hours. Yesterday 1.28" (33mm) fell and during the evening rain turned to snow resulting in a couple of inches of lying snow. That will show in today's rainfall.
Over the 48 hours 2" (50mm) of rain fell here breaking my January monthly rainfall records.

Re: Storm Christoph rainfall
Pretty much identical values at the other end of the county. Todays rain is just gradual snow melt.
