Suppressing realtime diagnostic logging

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Suppressing realtime diagnostic logging

Post by philpugh »

I have two CumulusMX systems - both running on RPi ZeroWs - and running b3099.

The diagnostic log sizes are building up more rapidly than they used to do on both systems and it both cases the 'culprit' appears to be messages like these :

even though I am not requesting data logging anywhere.

I have attached both Cumulus.ini and the latest diagnostic file - both edited to remove 'sensitive' information!!

Sorry Phil you can't. I had already noted it and have seriously reduced the normal logging levels for both real-time and interval file processing in the next build though which should suppress these messages.
