Standard template don't refresh anymore

Hi all,

We use the Cumulus 1 latest release and had to change hosting server last week. Since then, we have to click the refresh button to get the lastest info. If not, we get the info from the last refresh. On top of that, the small images used on the Trend template don't refresh at all unless we clear the cache. Previously we did not have to do any of that and we are using the same template as before which are the basic ones. Same problem with Chrome, Edge, Firefox, on my phone, tablet...

The files and images on the server are updated. No problem there. Are we missing a file somewhere ? Setting in cumulus ?

The files and images on the server are updated.

If they were, the website would be too.

Either Cumulus isn't uploading them, or it's not processing the pages and it's uploading the same ones each time.

You'll have to zip up your diag folder and post it here.

Is your new host using 'cloud' storage ?
That has a nasty habit of caching graphics for 3hrs on whatever route you entered by

I use Infinityfree for hosting.

I tried two things this morning that confirmed it is something to do with Cache. If I am in Incognito mode = No problem. All pages and images are currents. Same if I am in the Developer mode as it disables the cache when open.

Again, in mornal mode, if I don't click refresh I will then get the last refresh. Could be 30min ago or 2 days ago. AND even if I click refresh all small images never get refreshed unless I clean the cache.

It is probably the problem. It juse makes sense. I would need to reconfigure the setup as I cannot modify the htaccess file on the server.

I finally fixed the problem. thanks to beteljuice to point me in the right direction.

I used this line in the .htaccess file

Header set Cache-Control "no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate"

and that was enough.

And just make sure you name the htaccess file properly. It must have start with a dot. I did not realize it but when I downloaded the file to edit it, the dot was removed for whatever reasons thus rendering the file useless until I caught my mistake.
