Rain Data not being updated in the Interface and Website.

Hello Folks,
Does anyone else have this problem on the latest version Cumulus MX 3.9.2 b3097.
I have noticed that Cumulus is not updating any rain data from my Davis Pro 2 Weather Station, the weather station at the moment is displaying 0.20in for daily rain and Cumulus is displaying 0.01in.
I did try the older version 3.9.1 - b3096 last night and it displayed everything OK. Both the weather station and Cumulus were displaying the same data.
I hope you can sort out this problem for me.
Many Thanks & Merry Christmas to you all.
Regards
Michael

@Mapantz: For me too, but that is not Cumulus so maybe @M1DUL should clarify whether he means the management interface and if not where exactly does he see it.
Oh, this was a reaction on Mapantz but that reaction has been removed. However, can't hurt if you specify exactly.

Yes I mean the management interface and on my website.
I have gone back over to version 3096 while it gets fixed.

@M1DUL I will need to see the MXdiag log file created when you start up Cumulus 3097 using the "-debug" command line parameter.
@Hans and @Mapantz - are you saying you do not see this issue?

I saw that the website showed 0.23" but saw the CMX version at the bottom of the page - the previous one that the OP had gone back to.

Indeed my rain is shown in the interface as it is on the website and on the console.

But having said that, with me it is all metric so it could be an inches issue.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for replying back to me.
I have gone back over to CumulusMx 3097 and started the debug log file. How long do I need to leave it for? So that I can send you the log file?
I will attach a picture of my Davis weather display and also attach a screen print of the dashboard interface.
Many Thanks for your help.
Mike

Not long - that should be enough by now.

Thanks, I am pretty certain I know what the issue is.
Could you PM me your Cumulus.ini file? Remove the passwords from a copy first, and PM just in case you leave something behind you shouldn't!

Actually - no I don't know what is going wrong, I'd still like your Cumulus.ini file though.
Unfortunately that log file was not from a run of Cumulus with started with -debug ?
> CumulusMX.exe -debug
Can you run it again please, and just zip up your whole MXdiags folder so I can see the b3096 logs as well?
Thanks

I have found the issue. It comes about with VP2 stations using 0.01 inch rain buckets that also have the read-only Cumulus.ini file setting VPrainGaugeType=1 configured.
Without that setting the rain bucket size is inferred from the station rain units, ie if you have your station set to use inches it assumes the bucket is 0.01 inch/tip, if millimetres it assumes 0.2 mm/tip.
The code "clean-up" in b3097 simplified the conversion from tips to units, but unfortunately fails in the specific case of the bucket size is defined manually as inches in Cumulus.ini (VPrainGaugeType=1)
and you are using inches as the measurement.
It should still be working if you use mm, have a mm bucket, and have defined VPrainGaugeType=0!
In your case commenting out that entry in Cumulus.ini should get it working, but meantime I need to fix it more generally.

Hi Mark,
Thank you very much for your reply.
Everything is working perfectly, enormous gratitude. I removed the setting as you suggested, just to let other's know.
Wishing you a very happy Christmas & a happy New Year.
Kindest Regards
Mike
