Web Page Historic

Post by Nottub »

I know there's no such thing as a silly question but I'm a master of them. :bash:

Struggling away with my web pages using the templates in CumulusMX and have a question.

Just converted a couple of .wlk files using WL Convertor which created three files; Oct20log.txt, Nov20log.txt and dayfile.txt.

I have copied these three to my Data folder within CumulusMX and can see them on the graph 'Chartshistoric.html' on my local machine with the .8998 access. However I can't see them on my Web Page.

www.calvertoncam.co.uk/weather

Do I need to alter the start date of my station back to October to get them online, or am I missing something?

Also I had to do some swapping in the Data file which was created as the two months were transposed in their order. I cut all Novembers entries and moved them after October as the graphs were all over the place.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,
I think you will need to wait until your midnight rollover to get the historical charts to display.
The alldailyxxxxdata.json files on your site have very little data - i.e. http://www.calvertoncam.co.uk/weather/a ... mdata.json which is likely from limited converted data files.
Do the alldailyxxxxdata.json files in your local \web folder have more data. If so you can upload them manually to your website.

These will then become current after each day's rollover.

Enjoy,
Paul

Thanks Paul, It may be that I messed up yesterday, changed it today, and need to wait till after 9am tomorrow for the files to be copied across. Both versions are the same though with little information in them.

Trying to get everything up and running for the turn of the year when I switch between my old Weather Monitor2 and my new VP2.

I'll keep watching for now.

Thanks anyway.
