New Cumulusmx&new mono

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

New Cumulusmx&new mono

Post by vpokroglo »

I have yesterday updated CumulusMX to the newest version. I also updated mono to 6.xxx. I live in Slovenia and our local date format is 10. 12. 2020, so dd.(space)mm.(space).yyyy. My Saratoga website and many other third party scripts are screwed up.
Is there any easy solution or I must downgrade CumulusMX and Mono?

If downgrading is the only solution, please tell me which is the latest CumulusMX version working with 4.xx Mono.

Thanks.

Marko

The last build that supports mono v4 is v3.9.0 - b3095.

I think that Cumulus supports the Slovenia date format though as this has come up before and I'm pretty sure that I fixed it?

@vpokroglo: I think if you move up one mono version (so 5 and higher) support for Slovenian locale is not there anymore.
I think you tried that a year ago.

I am also thinking about changing locale, to some similar. Is there a website, where is a list of how does mono deal with different locales, so i could choose?

There is right way, and every other way!

You could use this table, then look up the locale code.
