From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

That is starting CumulusMX via systemd. I meant starting the mono service itself in a terminal. Try this:
Code: Select all
/usr/bin/mono-service -l:/tmp/CumulusMX.exe.lock -d:/home/install/CumulusMX CumulusMX.exe -service

Thanks Freddie
I tried (with name folder fixed) :
Code: Select all
/usr/bin/mono-service -l:/tmp/CumulusMX.exe.lock -d:/home/ubuntu/CumulusMX CumulusMX.exe -service
And IT WORKS! with terminal off also.
Well, can I run this command after booting of OS, like a demon... and Can I kill it without reboot ? I don't know if I used the right words to explain
Thanks.

Did you edit the service file before or after copying it to /etc/system/systemd?
If after, then you will need to run the command

This means that it is all working apart from the systemd bit. As mcrossley says, if you did any editing of the cumulusmx.service file then you need to run the command he mentions to refresh the systemd configuration.

You do not have /use/bin/mono-service on your system. I checked the version of mono installed and it is 3.1. You need to have at least mono version 5. You should also ensure you have installed the mono-complete package.

Thanks Freddie,
I have installed mono-complete and IT WORKS !
Before mono-complete I have installed mono-devel from here
https://www.mono-project.com/download/s ... wnload-lin but of course I done lot of messy installation.
For now it works, but can be a good solution start over with ubuntu 20.04 and "more intelligent" installations.
Thank you for now !

Hey Guys, can I ask if is possible to run Cumulus as service but with different port, example 8080
I have tried
Code: Select all
ExecStart=/usr/bin/mono-service -d:/home/ubuntu/CumulusMX CumulusMX.exe -port 8080 -service
but not works, I have CumulusMX running always on 8998

Did you reload the systemctl daemon after editing the file?
