Hi Mark,
Just in the process of Upgradeing my templates to incorporate changes in the later releases.
Using FTP Now to refresh my website after edits.
I notice that on clicking Start FTP Now the it then shows
Status: FTP process invoked
If I click it in succession it says
Status: A web update is already in progress (to be expected).
Is it a major write to add another status message?
Status: Web update completed
Also on Extra Webfiles,
Do Local & file names always need to be full paths?
Or can they be relative?
Like Locally relative to C:\CumulusMX\ or C:\CumulusMX\Web\
I'd assume if relative paths worked for remote, in my case they would be relative to /public_html/weather/
Thanks
Phil.

Re: FTP Now. FTP Paths.
Question still Stands on FTP Now,
But decided I could test the relative paths for myself.
Remote Path appears to be relative to the FTP user's home directory on the server, in my case \
Not the Remote FTP Directory specified in the Internet Setting.
At the local end the Local Path appears to be relative to C:\CumulusMX, or where ever MX is installed.
Not sure that this is documented, but it's good to know, assuming what's above is correct.
Could help may my 20+ Extra Webfiles page a little more readable.
Cheers
Phil.

Re: FTP Now. FTP Paths.
I asked the the question about a message about the FTP Now giving a completed message and Mark said the task is enabled and then disconnected so there is no way to check the task is completed as the tread just completes and doesn't report back to the invoking task.

@Phil23 Yes you can use relative paths, and you are correct the local path will be relative to the Cumulus folder, the remote relative to the default FTP folder.
I believe the default remote path was not used as it is really intended for the default web site, and people use extra files to upload files to various locations - some run multiple web sites for instance. Not using that default path gives the extra flexibility.
