WMR89 Compatability

I've been using a WMR89 but am reading a lot that it's not compatible with Cumulus.
Can somebody confirm and if so then recommend a weather station that is compatible less than $500 AUD.

Not in the list https://cumuluswiki.org/a/Supported_Devices so I guess not.

Possibly an Ecowitt but I can't recommend how best to purchase one in Australia. The Weatherduino DIY project also seems quite popular over there, if you're that way inclined.
