Export WVIEW database to CUMULUS MX

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Export WVIEW database to CUMULUS MX

Post by ChaserPeek »

Hi Staff support and thanks for your fine work.

WVIEW for me is deprecated and I would continue to work with CUMULUS MX. Please, can you explain if it's possible to export WVIEW archive to CUMULUS MX ?
Thanks, regards. :D

Sorry, I haven't heard of anyone doing that - doesn't mean it is not possible though, but you may be a bit on your own.

Can WVIEW export its data in text format? Or maybe it stores in in text files?

Hi Mcrossley, thanks.

mmm, I think anyone doing that also... maybe it's hard. Wview works with SQL LITE archive (sdb file) like attach, but I don't know if I can export this in text file.
Well, where is archive of CumulusMx? Can I explode it to try do something ?
Thanks. Regards

Here's some info getting data from the archive (sql) file, and then converting to txt for a different format to Cumulus ..
