Starting second instance of CumulusMX from DOS CMD

I have been running two instances of CumulusMX on my Windows10 PC (one with WiFiLogger, and the other with WLL) by starting the second instance from the DOS cmd \CumulusMXwll\CumulusMX.exe -port=8999
This morning after another "Your computer ran into a problem and needs to restart" message and computer auto shutdown and restart I can no longer connect the second instance. I can start each instance separately by the full path without a -port=xxxx parameter but it fails if I use that -port=xxxx. I can also start each instance separately by right-click on the CumulusMX.exe in the installed folder but this does not allow to run in an alternate port.

Any ideas while all of a sudden the -port=8999 parameter no longer works, and is there another way to start a second CumulusMX in an alternate port?

Enjoy,
Paul

I start my second instance by adding a target command via right clicking the Cumulus MX icon.

I have a shortcut to the icon on my desktop - right click and scroll down to properties click it..

Target: C:\CumulusMX\CumulusMX.exe -port 8998

Thank you, that works great. Got two CMX shortcuts and both running at the same time again.

Enjoy,
Paul

Hi Paul, I think you were using...
-port=8999
The correct format is...
-port 8999

Thanks Mark,
It all works fine now from DOS cmd using -port 8999 as well as with Mapantz shortcut suggestion. After the PC crash I thought I had tried -port 8999 but likely missed that in my panic following the PC crash so came up with -port=8999. I've got a great memory, as long as it is written on that piece of paper in front of me ;)

Enjoy,
Paul
