Good find Steinar, I searched, but not in the WiKi
@Ray, I think you had to ask to be added or to modify the list.

It has been a long time and my memory is probably wrong, but I thought it was a Cumulus Users map where all the listed users were plotted on the map, rather than going to the user's location on a Google map - something like wxforum https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?action=googlemap This WiKi page is fine with me as it shows the users and by continent/country and then can zero in to specific location, as well as website. Now how to maintain?

Enjoy,
Paul

Steve used to maintain them when people emailed him with changes etc.

It needs someone to do it manually, so it would need a wiki volunteer.

Paul, yes, that’s how I remember it. I did appear on that map many moons ago.

I edited it myself back in 2012. Registred user could do it then.

David, perhaps zeemaps would be a better solution. users can just add themselves to a "cumulus weather stations " group if someone whats to setup a group to it? user them before for group memberships.

the beteljuice has a new toy and would like to share it with his playmates. :D

Work In Progress - things to try, tweaks to make etc.

If anybody breaks it whilst I'm getting the trifle, there maybe a delay before it gets debugged properly (and your info may be lost) :groan:

Interesting.

If you make this generally available and make it possible to make a distinction (colour?) between certain aspects of users (e.g. cumulusutils users) it might become general and I would switch the cutils map for this one. Website obligatory?

For the moment I am colour coding markers for if they have a website, and of course there will many users do not have a 'public' website.
... but yes an extra colour or different markers could be introduced for 'facilities'.

... didn't want to play then :(

OK. I'll wait for the developments, any map automation is welcome.
The moment it becomes generic and fits my bill, I'll join :D

What would be the use of being on the map without a website?
(why would anybody be interested in a beteljuice swimming in the middle of he Channel?)
If somebody has a website, could that be made clickable from the position?

Could you create an API to automatically create/update entries without un/pw? i.e. through cumulusutils?

Anyway, I entered my site as well.

And btw: your passwords are not stored in the FF pw manager (not asked). That is a problem, I use 16 pos generated pw. Even when I was young I could not remember those.

Thank you betel, looks nice.

Now for the asks...
Can you add to the Auto Pilot a subfolder to keep some of our favourite sites for quick access to their weather reporting?
When you add the link to websites, can there be a list of program/equipment being used?
Can you...

Enjoy,
Paul
