Unit for Wind Run with speed m/s

I have added Wind Run to my graphs. However according to to the wiki : Wind run is calculated by adding in a minute's worth of 'distance' corresponding to that speed.
If the speed is in km/hr the distance would be in km, for kts it would be knots (kn) and for mph it would be miles (mi). Is that correct?
But how is the distance recorded for m/s. I assume it is in km. Is that correct?

Yes, in Scandinavia we use m/s for wind speed and km for distance.

Being picky, if the speed is knots, then the distance is nautical miles (M, NM, or nmi).

I missed this, otherwise I would've mentioned it. You're not being picky - just factual. 1 knot is 1 nautical mile per hour, so distance will definitely be nautical miles.

@sutne: OK, thnx. (and I'll change the graph accordingly

@mcrossley: true, my bad. As I use mi for the landmile, I'll start using nmi for the nautical mile. But does CMX actually do store those figures or is there an internal conversion (like there is for m/s)

Cumulus stores the wind run (and lightning distance) in km, mi, or nm
