Dayfile Entry Missing.

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Dayfile Entry Missing.

Post by Phil23 »

Hi All,

Just jumped into Beteljuice's Dayfile reader & noticed I'm missing the entry for 15/08/20.
Have absolutely no idea why.

I did take the station down on the 14 to replace the rain tipper & SHT31 & give it a general cleanup,
but it was back on-line & running fine after.

I've checked Aug20Log.txt & it looks fine right thru the period, records written every 10 minutes.

What is the best way to recreate this missing record?
Is there a way I can generate it from the month log, or do I just have to manually browse the 24 hours of data & pick the relevant values from there?

Thanks

Phil.

There is no simple way of doing it. If the data is still in the logger, then you could backup your data, rewind the data, recreate that day, copy the line from your dayfile, restore your data, and add the line back into your current data.

But personally I'd probably import your monthly log file into Excel and determine the values from there.
