To correct these entries it's still a laborious effort to correct every 10 minute download, or am I missing something? Why does the rainfall counter do this. I had the same problem with Cumulus1 too? I know it may be the fact that switching the program off that could be part of the issue. Has cumulus to be running constantly. What happens when you have weatherlink software downloads to run with weatherlink using the same port on your PC?

Rainfall errors
I've bee running CumulusMx on my desktop for a 1 week now and this evening I noticed spurious entries for total rain / hourly rain/ monthly rain etc

Re: Rainfall errors
There shouldn't be any errors in rainfall with a Davis station, unless there is a hardware/electrical issue "inventing" rain.
Cumulus (1 or MX) does not need to be run 24x7, so long as your logger is working OK.
Only one software program can access your station at any one time, so you must stop MX to run WL, and vice versa.

Hi Mark
There are no consistent errors, concerning historical data within the Davis set up. see my latest post on this issue
