My name is Bill and I'm brand new to cumulus. Also new to using a Raspberry Pi. Recently installed it and am working through it and must say I really like it. I've had Davis wx stations since 1997 starting with the Weather Monitor II. It was rock solid in performance but I wanted wireless and ability to add other sensors so moved on to the VP2 sometime ago. I've recently added a WLL and am very happy with it.
As I'm a newbie to both Cumulus and Raspberry, please expect some rather basic questions forthcoming.
One of the reasons I purchased a Raspberry was that my weather station software is currently running on an ancient Dell PC whose days are numbered. Looking forward to this new adventure.
